Further Information and Terms & Conditions
The Event continues whatever the weather (and did so during the cold and snow which affected the 2009, 2010 and 2011 Events!). Please dress appropriately for the weather - most activities are based indoors, but you will need to walk from location to location. If it is wet underfoot, please make sure you have appropriate footwear and, if it is wet or muddy, wear the over-shoe covering we provide when you go round the House
We do not give any refunds whatsoever. However, if you give us 5 clear days' notice before your booked date we may at our discretion exchange your booking for a later date for this Christmas Event or give a credit to be used only in relation to some other Kentwell event at some later date within the ensuing 12 months.
The number of Tickets available during each time-band will be limited to avoid over-crowding. There will be no entry after 2.30pm. Tickets will be available for use only on the day and entry time for which they were booked.
An Older Child is aged 3 to 15; a Younger Child is aged 18 to 36 months; there is no charge for those aged under 18 months. All aged 16 and older classed as Adults. All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. All (adults included) may visit Father Christmas but only children with paid tickets will receive a present.
Each child who wishes to engage in any activity must be accompanied by an adult to supervise the child while doing so.
Length of Visit
All day, if you wish, but plan to allow a minimum of 3 hours. This may depend upon how many times you want to visit some of the Activities and how long you want to spend making Decorations or in the Tearoom. We shall close at 5pm although the House will close at 4pm. (The House is lit after dark by candles and oil lamps which have to be closely monitored.)
We are able to offer Christmas Wreath-making for an extra charge for each wreath. This has proved very popular and takes a little time. Space is limited. Please call 01787 310207 and book this at least 5 days before you visit. The longer ahead you book the more likely it is that there will be space.
The cost of refreshments is NOT included in the Dickensian Christmas ticket price and must be purchased separately.
If you book tickets on-line in advance you will enjoy significant discounts.
Tickets available from mid November. Sign up to our newsletter (see below) for the latest event and ticket information.
