12 month First Job Contracts

These are for very bright newly qualified graduates (first class degree or near miss). A challenging first job of great variety which enables you to test your skills in a very demanding but exciting environment. University Student Summer Vacation Placements
Kentwell has, probably, a wider range of activities than any other Historic House. Kentwell's busiest time of year is June to September with a succession of Costumed and other Events, Concerts, Plays & Opera, Rallies, Weddings & Corproate Functions. Experience at Kentwell is useful for almost any career. Usually May/June to August/September  Apply to Mr Phillips by e-mail with CV for any time.

Office Wizard

Full or part time.  Person of ability and flair. Must be very bright, extremely well organized and self sufficient with proven ability to operate the busy Estate Office at times on their own. Apply by e-mail with CV enclosed to Mr Phillips

Stockperson/Groundsperson

Farm worker with considerable experience in working with animals (horse, cattle, sheep & pigs) for work on Farm and in woods and grounds. Apply to Mrs Phillips

Function & Tearoom Staff

Responsible Persons

To assist with preparations for and serving Kentwell catering for Functions and in the Tea-room - usually at weekends and during school holidays.

You should be responsible, able to deal with public and prepared to observe high standards of presentation and service. Apply to Mrs Phillips with CV

Youngsters:

Opportunities for youngsters to gain paid work experience
Kentwell offers casual or part time work in a pleasant environment at weekends and during school holidays mainly working in a Tearoom and at Weddings and Other Evening Functions. There are also (more limited) opportunities occasionally at certain times in other areas of Kentwell’s activities. Best suited to bright, presentable students studying for GCSE or ‘A’ Levels or at University.
