Enchanted Garden at Night
Kentwell’s Enchanted Light Walk
Kentwell Hall, Gardens & Moats are lovely in daylight but become magical when lit up at night!
Kentwell’s Gardens offer a captivating blend of evergreens and ancient trees, showcasing year-round beauty. From the towering Giant Cedars to the uniquely shaped Yews, carefully clipped into imaginative forms, the gardens are a visual delight. These striking evergreens contrast beautifully with the graceful, bare branches of majestic Oaks and espaliered fruit trees, creating a landscape rich in variety and texture.
As you wander through the grounds, you’ll encounter the charm of Kentwell’s historic buildings, with their warm brickwork, and the shimmering waters of the moats, all surrounded by stunning plantings. Along the way, hidden surprises await—from the intricate topiary scenes of the Pied Piper story to the towering Yews, shaped into bottles, columns, cones, domes, and even a grand Yew Castle with secret passages leading to a magical circle and impressive avenues.
Whether you’re visiting for the first time or know Kentwell’s Gardens well, you’ll see them in a whole new light, particularly at night when they take on an enchanting atmosphere. Discover the gardens as never before, with new wonders around every corner.
